House Rules
All motel rooms have a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. All other units feature fully equipped kitchens. We do not furnish small electrical appliances such as blenders and electric fry pans; however, all kitchen units do have toasters. We furnish towels and linens (please bring your own beach towels). All units have expanded cable TV and telephones. There is a charge for outgoing calls; incoming calls are complimentary. We have complimentary Wi-Fi available; access points are located throughout the property. We do not have air conditioning. Office Hours: 24 hours
Directions: We are located in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego, right on the Pacific Ocean. From Interstate #5, take the Garnet Avenue exit. Go West on Garnet Avenue to Mission Boulevard. Make a left on Mission Boulevard. The Beach Cottages are a few blocks South between Thomas and Reed streets.
Parking Policy: A key card is required to enter the main parking lot. When you first arrive at the hotel, please pull into the alcove and come into the property to obtain your room key -- the exit gate does not require a key card. All units are guaranteed 1 parking space. All two bedroom units are guaranteed 2 parking spaces. Additional spaces are allotted on a case by case basis. We do not guarantee visitor parking. Please review your confirmation for details on any parking fees that may be applicable.
Check-in time: Please note that our guaranteed check-in time is now 4:00 PM; please plan your travel accordingly as rooms may not be ready until 4:00 PM.
Check-out time: 11:00 AM
Check In Policy: Only the reservation holder will be allowed to register and pick up keys for a room. Please be advised that the reservation holder must have valid identification and credit card available upon arrival for check in.
Full payment for your stay is expected upon arrival. In addition to the room rate there is also transient occupancy tax of 12.75%, a TMD (San Diego Tourism Marketing District) of 2%, and a California Tourism Assessment of .195% for a total of 14.945% tax. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner’s Club and Discover credit cards. Please note that there is a two night minimum over weekends and a three night minimum over holiday weekends.
Smoking policy: Smoking and vaping are not permitted within the property; smoking is only permitted in our parking lot.
Scooters, Bicycles, Roller Skates, Skateboards, and other similar forms of transportation can no longer be be ridden on the property due to liability issues - this is a permanent change.
Music policy: Loud and explicit music is prohibited. Volume and bass should be regulated to a level where it doesn't affect other guests or cause any disturbances.
Pet policy: Sorry, pets are NOT allowed, however, Service Animals are welcome.
Service Animal Defined by Title II and Title III of the ADA. A service animal means any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability.
Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA.
Service dog fraud is a misdemeanor crime in California, punishable by six months in jail or a fine of up to $1,000, or both.
